Role Overview:
As an SEN Science Teacher, you will deliver accessible, stimulating science lessons to students with a range of additional needs including Autism, ADHD, Complex Learning Difficulties (CLD), and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD).
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver differentiated science lessons based on P Scales and other SEN frameworks.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs and abilities.
- Foster a positive, supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and learning.
- Build strong relationships with pupils and staff to promote engagement and progress.
- Support personal care needs as required to facilitate learning.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain.
- Available full-time Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM.
- Experience teaching Science to SEN pupils in UK schools preferred.
- Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
- Immediate availability to start.
