Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic Science Teacher to deliver engaging and accessible lessons to students with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SLD, PMLD, and other complex conditions. You'll be key to helping students understand the world around them while supporting their personal development.
Requirements:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Legal right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
- Experience teaching students with SEN in the UK
- Confident with classroom management
- Available Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and adapt science lessons that suit individual learning needs
- Deliver content in a sensory-friendly and practical way
- Support behaviour regulation and promote a safe learning space
- Collaborate with school staff to implement EHCP goals
- Offer emotional and pastoral support as needed
