Randstad Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Maths Teacher (QTS) to join a secondary School. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting students with diverse learning needs in a supportive and inclusive environment. The ideal candidate will deliver tailored, engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and promote confidence and progress in Maths.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver inclusive lessons within a broad, balanced, and differentiated curriculum for SEMH students
• Monitor, assess, and report on student progress, supporting personalised learning goals
• Ensure safeguarding is prioritised and all welfare policies are followed
• Apply therapeutic approaches to support student's emotional and behavioural development
• Collaborate with staff and external tutors to maintain high teaching and behavioural standards
• Implement School policies and uphold Independent School Standards daily

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
• Experience teaching Maths to SEN students
• Knowledge of SEN frameworks and EHCPs
• Ability to adapt lessons to individual needs
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Good communication with students, parents, and staff
• Willingness to use assistive technology
• Enhanced DBS check (or willing to obtain)
