- A minimum of six months of demonstrable professional experience in a UK school setting, supporting pupils with a variety of Special Educational Needs (e.g., Autism, Moderate Learning Difficulties).
- Exceptional patience, resilience, and empathy, alongside proven skills in managing challenging behaviour and effective de-escalation strategies.
- Outstanding ability to establish clear, professional, and effective communication with pupils, parents/carers, and the wider school staff.
- An unwavering full-time commitment and availability for the entire duration of the long-term placement.
- Possession of a current Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or immediate willingness to complete a new application.
