Are you passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs and preparing them for adulthood? We are seeking ten dedicated Teaching Assistants to join a brand new Post-16 specialist provision catering for students aged 16-19 with EHCPs and access to tailored curriculum pathways.
The provision offers three distinct curriculum routes across three sites, carefully designed to meet the individual needs and aspirations of each learner. Students are engaged in shaping their own learning and setting personal goals, with an emphasis on preparation for adulthood, wellbeing, and future outcomes.
About the Role:
Support high-functioning students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Assist with GCSE-level learning and career/apprenticeship transitions
Minimal physical care responsibilities
Promote wellbeing and life skills through the curriculum
Support students in both classroom and work placement settings
Key Details:
Pay: £14.61 - £15.38 per hour (pending confirmation)
Permanent contract from September
Full-time positions (start in May/June for induction and training)
