We are currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school community in Horley. This role involves working closely with teachers to support classroom learning, providing additional assistance to pupils with individual needs, and helping with general school duties. Key Responsibilities:
Offer targeted support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) as required
Work with students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups to support learning progress
Assist teaching staff with lesson delivery and day-to-day classroom management
Support pupil supervision during breaks, lunchtimes, and school trips
Help foster a safe, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment
Skills and Experience:
Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
A compassionate, patient, and positive approach
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
A valid DBS certificate or willingness to apply for one
Previous experience supporting children in a school or similar setting
Experience in a Teaching Assistant role or working with children is desirable
