Your Role & Responsibilities
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide direct support to students with special educational needs during class and in one-on-one sessions.
- Promote student engagement and contribute to their emotional well-being.
- Maintain accurate records of student behaviour and progress.
- Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
- Build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
- Collaborate effectively as a vital part of the team.
What You'll Need
- A minimum of 6 months of experience assisting children with SEN in a UK classroom setting.
- A valid Enhanced DBS check (registered with the Update Service or willing to apply for a new one).
- The legal right to work in the UK.
- A strong commitment to inclusive education and continuous personal growth.
