Essential Requirements for CandidatesTo be considered for this crucial role, applicants must demonstrate:
- A minimum of six months of proven professional experience within a UK school setting, providing support to pupils with a diverse range of Special Educational Needs (e.g., ASD, MLD).
- Exceptional qualities of patience, resilience, and empathy, alongside demonstrated capability in managing challenging behaviour and effective de-escalation techniques.
- An outstanding capacity to build clear, professional, and effective lines of communication with students, their families/carers, and the wider school staff.
- An unwavering full-time commitment and availability for the entire duration of the long-term placement.
- Possession of a current Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or the immediate willingness to submit a new application.
