The Opportunity
Are you passionate about making a tangible difference in the lives of young people with complex needs? We are seeking a dedicated and qualified SEN Teaching Assistant to join a nurturing, therapeutic specialist day school in St Ives.
Our school supports students aged 11-16 with a range of needs, including SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health), Autism, and communication difficulties. The Role
In this rewarding position, you will work closely with teachers to create a safe, supportive learning environment. Your day-to-day will involve:
Individualised Support: Working with students with ASD and anxiety-related needs.
Adaptive Learning: Assisting with and tailoring activities to meet unique learning styles.
Positive Engagement: Managing behaviour through a positive, person-centred approach.
Resource Management: Preparing classroom materials to ensure lessons run smoothly.

What You'll Need
Relevant qualifications for a Teaching Assistant role.
