We are looking for a resilient and empathetic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our specialist day school in St Ives. We aren't a "standard" classroom; we are a therapeutic environment dedicated to students aged 11-16 navigating SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health), Autism, and complex communication needs.

The Details
Salary: £22,996 - £25,068 (Actual annual salary)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent (Term Time Only)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
Location: St Ives, Cambridge
Your Role on the Team
As a vital member of our multidisciplinary squad, you will bridge the gap between curriculum and connection. You will:
Foster Independence: Provide tailored support for students with ASD and high-anxiety profiles.
Think on Your Feet: Adapt lesson plans in real-time to meet the sensory and emotional needs of your students.
Champion Positive Behavior: Use person-centered, trauma-informed approaches to de-escalate and support.
Collaborate: Partner with teachers and therapists to create a classroom culture where every student feels safe to succeed.
