Job Title: SEN Teacher Assistant

Here at Randstad Education, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide general support in a Y3 class and also support with Neurodiverse children within the class, in our vibrant primary school in Halewood. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the life of a child, ensuring they receive the tailored support they need to thrive in their learning environment. Any experience supporting ADHD, ASD or Global delay would be ideal. The role is to start asap and will continue in the new academic year for the right person.

Required Qualifications:
- Valid Enhanced Child DBS on the update service (or willingness to acquire one).
- Proven experience working with children with additional needs.
- Two current professional references.
- Experience in managing challenging behaviours.
- A calm, caring, and empathetic approach.
- A strong and resilient character.
- Excellent reading, writing, numeracy, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer personalised support to students in one-on-one or small group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers to create and deliver engaging lessons.
- Help students manage challenging behaviours effectively.
- Prepare learning materials and equipment.
- Assist with student's personal care as needed.
- Support daily classroom tasks and educational activities.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
