This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and proven experience working with pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC).
About the Role:
You'll be instrumental in creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment where every child can thrive. You will be responsible for:
Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to the specific needs of students with SEMH and ASC.
Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and robust behaviour management strategies.
Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including teaching assistants, therapists, and external professionals, to provide holistic support.
Fostering positive relationships with students, parents, and carers, promoting a strong home-school partnership.
Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and adapting teaching methods as necessary.

Patient, resilient, and empathetic, with a deep understanding of the challenges faced by students with SEMH and ASC.
Creative and innovative in their teaching approach, able to engage and inspire learners of all abilities.
A strong communicator, capable of building rapport with students, colleagues, and parents.
Committed to continuous professional development and staying abreast of the latest SEN best practices.
Able to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
