- Inspire children by creating a sense of awe and wonder, making learning real and relevant.
- Plan and deliver exciting and engaging learning opportunities that challenge and support students at all levels.
- Manage complex and challenging behaviours with a non-judgemental, consistent, and flexible approach, understanding our students' need for attention and specific communication strategies.
- Champion a trauma and attachment-informed approach (extensive training and support will be provided).
- Be an active participant in the decision-making processes that drive our school forward, contributing to both academic and extra-curricular development.
- Work collaboratively with therapy professionals, parents/carers, local authority teams, and our students to secure outstanding outcomes.
Who We Are Looking For:
You are, first and foremost, a teacher of children, passionate about understanding and supporting individual needs. You are resilient, patient, and possess the unique ability to connect with young people who require a specialised and understanding approach. You believe in the potential of every student and are committed to helping them overcome barriers to learning.
