We are looking for a dedicated and resilient Temporary SEN Teacher to join our team for a fixed-term period at our specialist school, which focuses on supporting pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

The Role
As a SEN Teacher, you will:
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons tailored to the specific SEMH and learning needs of a small class group.
Take full responsibility for a class, ensuring all pupils are engaged and making progress during your tenure.
Implement effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment.
Work closely with a dedicated team of Teaching Assistants, directing their support effectively.
Contribute to the school's positive culture, adhering to all policies and procedures.
Ensure accurate recording and reporting of pupil progress and well-being.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for a candidate who is:
A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
Demonstrably experienced in teaching pupils with SEN, particularly SEMH needs (essential).
Immediately available and able to commit to the full duration of the temporary contract.
Highly skilled at adapting the curriculum quickly to meet diverse learning styles.
Resilient, reliable, and proactive in managing a classroom with confidence.
Able to build rapport quickly with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
