This School is designed for students with SEMH, Autism, ADHD, and related needs. They provide a calm, caring, and focused environment. Every student is supported to grow socially, emotionally, and academically at their own pace. Responsibilities
- Deliver consistently high-quality, individualised teaching and learning
- Contribute to School improvement planning and reflective practice
- Provide guidance and mentorship to classroom and support staff
- Advise School leadership on effective strategies and educational resources
- Support and lead relevant training and development initiatives
- Champion the School's ethos of inclusion, resilience, and empowerment
Requirements
- QTS qualification is a prerequisite
- Deep understanding of SEN, especially in SEMH, Autism, and ADHD support
- Strong team collaboration skills within multi-disciplinary settings
- Experience coaching or mentoring support staff such as TAs and LSAs
- Confident in planning, documenting, and tracking student progress
- Hands-on experience with complex behavioural and communication needs
