Randstad Education is actively recruiting for a highly skilled and committed Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to fill a long-term, full-time position in Knowsley.

Your Role and Impact
As the SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for creating an inclusive, positive, and structured classroom environment where all students can succeed.
Key responsibilities include:
- Instruction: Designing, planning, and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons specifically tailored to students varying special educational needs.
- Assessment & Data: Implementing both formal and informal assessment strategies, analysing performance data, and utilising this information to adjust teaching methods.
- Resource Management: Adapting and modifying learning materials to ensure full accessibility for every student.
- Collaboration: Working closely and effectively with teaching assistants, parents, and external professionals to support student development.
- Classroom Management: Proactively managing classroom behaviour and fostering strong learning habits.
Essential Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this vital role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience teaching students with a variety of special educational needs within the UK education system.
- A thorough understanding of current SEN policies, best practices, effective intervention strategies, and resource modification.
- Possession of a current, clear Enhanced DBS check (or the willingness to obtain one immediately).
- Demonstrated professional qualities including resilience, strong classroom leadership skills, patience, and initiative.
