The Role:
In this position, you'll teach students with a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, Severe Learning Disabilities (SLD), and Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD). Your responsibilities will include planning and delivering tailored lessons, fostering positive relationships, and creating a safe and engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver lessons adapted to individual needs using the P Scales curriculum.
- Build trust through patient and positive relationships.
- Support personal care routines when necessary.
- Promote positive behaviour and engagement through creative methods.
Candidate Requirements:
- Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Legal right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain).
- Proven SEN experience in UK schools.
- Effective behaviour management skills.
- Availability for full-time hours, Monday-Friday.
