Job description
- Develop and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual student needs using the P Scales curriculum.
- Implement effective teaching strategies for diverse learning styles and needs.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment through proactive behaviour management.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to create comprehensive student support plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records.
- Contribute to the overall school improvement plan.
- Participate in professional development opportunities.
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Minimum of 6 months experience teaching students with SEN in the UK
- Strong understanding of the P Scales curriculum
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with diverse learning needs
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Legal right to work in the UK
