Randstad Education is seeking an exceptional SEN Teacher to join our team at this amazing School in Nottinghamshire.
As a SEN Teacher, you will play an important role in supporting the education and development of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
This is a full time long term to permanent role available to start post Easter.

This School provides specialist education for 7-18 year olds with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH). Our pupils may have a number of diagnoses including: ASD, ACES, ADHD, FASD, anxiety and/or, communication and interaction, cognition, and learning needs

This fabulous opportunity is for a caring and nurturing Teacher who enjoys working and teaching students on a small groups and whole class basis with learners with different learning needs. This is a full time basis role to start as soon as possible.
We can offer this role initially on a temporary basis, however, there is a scope for this position to move to permanent for the right candidate.

These are some essentials to get this dream job:
- Teaching experience & qualifications - PGCE, QTS
- Enhanced DBS on the update service(we can support with applying for a new DBS if required)
- Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available with this role)
- Relevant SEN teaching experience (Must be able to provide 2 teaching references)
- Commitment, flexibility and enthusiasm
Your prime responsibilities would include:
- Working with small groups and 1:1
- Assisting pupils with academic tasks
- provide high quality teaching that will enable pupils to make progress not just academically, but socially and emotionally.
- Safeguarding all children
- Adhering to the curriculum, including up to date changes in the structure
- Ability to communicate with and encourage children with additional needs.
- Positive outlook, attitude and Knowledge of various teaching methods.
