Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards in teaching and learning across SEN provision
- Contribute to School development plans and self-evaluation processes
- Provide professional guidance and support to teaching and support staff
- Recommend resources and teaching materials to the Head of Education
- Lead relevant professional development for staff
- Promote and embody the School's values and mission
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or equivalent with evidence of ongoing professional development
- Strong understanding of SEN frameworks, individualised learning plans, and curriculum adaptations
- Experience collaborating within multi-disciplinary teams
- Proven skills in coaching and mentoring support staff
- Effective planning, assessment, and progress tracking skills
- Experience supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and complex communication or behavioural needs
