We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Qualified Teacher to join a dedicated team at a wonderful Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Fowlmere, Cambridgeshire, on a permanent, full-time basis.
This school supports children and young people with a wide range of special educational needs, including autism, learning difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health needs. They provide a nurturing, structured, and highly personalised learning environment that encourages every pupil to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
... - Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
- Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
- Collaborate closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and external professionals
- Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress and adapt teaching accordingly
- Promote personal development, emotional wellbeing, and independence in every pupil
- Participate in ongoing training and contribute to whole-school development initiatives
What We're Looking For :
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A strong interest in or experience working within SEN education
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and behaviour management skills
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to inclusive education
- The ability to adapt and respond creatively to a range of learning styles and needs
