We are seeking a compassionate and committed Qualified Teacher to join a specialist SEN school in Bassingbourn, Cambridgeshire, on a permanent, full-time basis.
This school provides a nurturing and inclusive environment for children and young people with a range of special educational needs, including autism, moderate to severe learning difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health needs. Key Responsibilities:
... - Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons suited to pupils with a variety of SEN
- Create and maintain a safe, supportive and structured learning environment
- Promote pupils' independence, confidence, and emotional wellbeing
- Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and families to ensure consistent support
- Monitor pupil progress and contribute to regular reviews and reporting
- Participate in ongoing professional development and school improvement initiatives
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with children with special educational needs (or a strong interest in doing so)
