We are seeking a dedicated and inspiring Qualified Teacher to join a specialist SEN school in Royston, Hertfordshire, on a permanent, full-time basis.
This school supports children and young people with a variety of complex needs, including autism, learning difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges.They focus on creating a safe, structured, and personalised learning environment where each pupil can thrive at their own pace and in their own way.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of SEN pupils
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom culture
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and wider support staff
- Support the holistic development of pupils-academically, socially, and emotionally
- Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress, contributing to regular review meetings

What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with pupils with SEN (desirable) or a strong commitment to learning SEN practice
- Excellent communication, planning, and behaviour management skills
- A patient, adaptable, and empathetic teaching style
- A team player with a commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
