We are looking for a committed and compassionate Qualified Teacher to join our dedicated team at a specialist SEN school in Shepreth, Cambridgeshire, on a permanent, full-time basis.
Our school provides high-quality education for children and young people with a range of special educational needs, including autism, learning difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. Key Responsibilities:
... - Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning profiles
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture where every pupil feels valued
- Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and external agencies to provide holistic support
- Track and report on pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet evolving needs
- Promote independence, confidence, and emotional wellbeing in all learners
- Contribute to the school's continuous improvement and professional learning culture
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with SEN pupils, or a strong interest in developing expertise in this area
- A creative, flexible, and nurturing teaching approach
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and behaviour management skills
- A commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding
- A positive mindset and the ability to adapt to daily challenges with patience and empathy
