We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Qualified Teacher to join a specialist SEN school in Whaddon, Cambridgeshire, on a permanent, full-time basis.
This school provides tailored education for children and young people with a wide range of special educational needs, including autism, moderate to severe learning difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. They offer a nurturing, structured environment where pupils are supported to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:
... - Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that are adapted to the individual needs of pupils
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and therapists to provide consistent, holistic support
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture that supports emotional wellbeing and learning
- Track and assess pupil progress, and contribute to regular review meetings with families and professionals
- Support pupils in developing independence, self-confidence, and resilience
- Take part in ongoing training and school development initiatives
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with SEN pupils is desirable, but not essential-enthusiasm and empathy are key
- A patient, flexible, and compassionate approach to teaching
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A commitment to inclusive practice and safeguarding
- A team player who is open to new ideas and continuous learning
