Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Randstad Education is currently recruiting for a compassionate and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a nurturing and inclusive school in the Banstead area. This is a valuable opportunity for someone passionate about supporting students to overcome educational challenges and succeed academically and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students with diverse needs such as autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH.
- Collaborate with class teachers and the SENCO to implement and monitor individual education plans (IEPs).
- Deliver one-to-one and group-based learning support.
- Promote engagement, motivation, and confidence within the classroom.
- Contribute to behaviour management using a calm and empathetic approach.
- Help create a secure and inclusive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN, ideally within UK educational settings.
- A proactive, nurturing, and adaptable approach.
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
- A sincere interest in children learning and well-being.
- Relevant training or qualifications (preferred but not required).
- Must be a UK resident with relevant UK-based experience. Please note that sponsorship is not available for this role.
