The Role: Expert Support for Complex Needs
This specialist provision is celebrated for its truly inclusive community, supporting learners from age 6 years with complex and severe SEN needs, including SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) and non-verbal challenges. They are renowned for their 'Outstanding' behaviour and safety standards.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be crucial in supporting learning where it's needed most:
Delivering high-quality teaching and learning across multiple core subjects.
Providing support for children who may present with challenging behaviours associated with their diagnosis or have multiple learning difficulties.
Assisting in the delivery of engaging and interactive lessons and activities.
Communicating with teachers, participating in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and whole-school training events.
This is a stable, full-time, permanent role (40 hours a week), term-time only.
