This specialist School supports children with SEMH, Autism, ADHD, and related needs. Responsibilities
- Provide tailored support to students in and out of the classroom
- Work closely with teaching staff to adapt learning to individual needs
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation strategies
- Foster students' social, emotional, and academic development
- Assist in delivering enrichment and life skills activities
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in an SEN or mainstream School environment
- Knowledge of SEMH, Autism, ADHD, and associated challenges
- Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with students
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Resilience, patience, and a proactive attitude
- A valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
