We are currently seeking a compassionate SEN teaching assistant prepared to provide 1:1 assistance to Year 3 children. The school is situated in the Leeds area, and the role requires full-time availability from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

The ultimate objective is for children to leave not only with strong self-assurance but also a deep conviction in their capacity to achieve their aspirations through unwavering commitment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Create an engaging and interactive learning environment.
Capable of supporting learning in one-on-one and small group settings.
Effectively communicate and collaborate with the class teacher.
Demonstrate patience, empathy, and strong communication when working with children.
Adjust teaching approaches to accommodate various learning styles and individual needs.
Possess knowledge of behaviour management techniques to foster positive behaviour.

Requirements:

The assurance to assess educational requirements and actively explore innovative teaching approaches.
Readiness and capacity to adjust to evolving situations.
The capability to offer personalised attention, assurance, and aid with educational tasks.
A solid comprehension of child development and the learning process.
Possession of an enhanced DBS on the update service or the willingness to obtain one.
Proficiency in the national Key Stage Curriculum.
Eligibility to work in the UK (Sponsorship not provided).
