We are currently seeking a compassionate SEN teaching assistant prepared to provide 1:1 assistance to children with additional needs who may display challenging behaviour. The school is situated in the Leeds, and the role requires full-time availability from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Roles & Responsibilities:
... - Collaborate with the class teacher to create tailored learning activities for students with SEN.
- Provide personalised one-on-one support, adapting teaching methods to individual learning styles.
- Assist with personal care tasks when needed to ensure student safety and well-being.
- Utilise effective behaviour management techniques and strategies to handle challenging behaviours positively.
- Monitor and track student progress, offering feedback to teachers and parents/guardians.
- Foster independent learning skills, social development, and emotional well-being in students.
Requirements:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with young children.
- Possession of an enhanced DBS on the update service or the willingness to obtain one.
- Patience, empathy, and understanding to cater to the diverse needs of students.
- A genuine passion for helping and supporting children in their learning and development.
- The ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals in an educational setting.
