About the Role:
Randstad Education is currently recruiting an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive school setting. This role requires a strong background in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of young learners.
You'll play a vital role in assisting teachers, supporting students with diverse learning needs, and contributing to a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to students with SEN, both one-to-one and in small groups
Assist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs)
Work collaboratively with teaching staff and SENCOs
Help manage classroom behaviour and encourage positive engagement
Support students' social and emotional development
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Proven experience working with children with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, speech & language needs, or SEMH)
A patient, compassionate, and adaptable approach
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
Relevant qualifications or training in education/SEN support (desirable but not essential)
