A highly regarded and welcoming specialist school, catering to students aged 5-19, is currently looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive and long-standing team. The school provides tailored support to children with a range of complex needs, including Autism, and is known for its therapeutic, calm, and inclusive environment.
With over 10 experienced TAs already in the secondary team, and a vibrant primary department, this setting offers you the opportunity to work in a collaborative, rewarding and student-centred environment. The school is oversubscribed year after year and is one of the largest specialist provisions in the county.
This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 9:00am-4:00pm, offered on a temporary-to-permanent basis.

Your Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and small group support based on teacher planning
Help deliver engaging and adapted lessons
Support students with both learning and emotional regulation
Monitor and assist in pupil progress and behaviour management
Work collaboratively with teachers and therapists
Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
What We're Looking For:
Passion for working with children and young people with SEN
Ability to support across both primary and secondary age ranges
Willingness to learn and adapt to different needs and settings
Ability to build trusting relationships with students and staff
Flexibility, patience, and resilience
Experience in SEN, care, or education (desirable but not essential)
