Essential Candidate CriteriaTo be eligible for this important post, applicants must satisfy the following:
- A minimum of six months proven professional experience within a UK school setting, supporting pupils with various Special Educational Needs (e.g., ASD, Moderate Learning Difficulties).
- Exceptional patience, resilience, and empathy, with demonstrated skills in managing challenging behaviour and de-escalation techniques.
- The superior ability to establish clear, professional, and effective communication with students, parents/carers, and the whole staff team.
- An unwavering full-time commitment and availability for the entire duration of the long-term contract.
- Must hold a current Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or be immediately willing to complete a new application.
