The Professional Package
Actual Annual Salary: £24,139.67 - £25,819.26 (dependent on your experience and qualifications).
Incentive: £1,000 Welcome Bonus*.
Terms: 40 hours per week, Term Time Only.
The School Day: 8:15 AM start; finishes vary (4:00 PM - 5:00 PM).
Contract: Permanent.
The Role: Impact & Autonomy
As an experienced member of the team, you will work alongside a supernumerary multi-disciplinary intervention team to deliver a "Waking Day Curriculum" that priorities the whole child.
Key Accountabilities for Senior Practitioners:
Curriculum Adaptation: Use your creative approach to adjust learning activities and reinforce concepts in line with individual student profiles.
Behavioural Leadership: Support positive behaviour through a tailored, solution-focused approach, adapting your responses to meet escalations with professional calm.
Collaborative Practice: Act as a key link between the Class Teacher, parents, and external professionals, ensuring progress is recorded and communicated effectively.
Mentorship: Contribute to the community life of the school and engage in reflective practice to further your own professional development.
Your Professional Profile
We are looking for TAs who bring a proactive, "can-do" mindset and a deep understanding of the complexities of Autism and SEND.
Credentials: You hold a Level 2 award (or higher) in supporting teaching and learning, alongside GCSE Maths and English.
Proven Track Record: Previous experience within a relevant SEND provision is highly desirable.
Specialist Knowledge: You have a firm grasp of Safeguarding, PREVENT, and the principles of promoting independence in an inclusive setting.
Personal Attributes: You are flexible, solution-focused, and capable of meeting the physical demands of an active SEND environment.
