We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive team at a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Royston, Hertfordshire, on a permanent, full-time basis.

This school provides a positive and inclusive setting for pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health challenges. They believe in creating tailored learning experiences that empower each child to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils with a variety of learning needs in both one-to-one and small group settings
• Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
• Contribute to the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs)
• Promote emotional wellbeing, independence, and social skills
• Help with personal care and support physical needs where required
• Create a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment
• Monitor pupil progress and communicate effectively with staff and families
