We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Teaching and Pupil Support Assistant to join our compassionate team. This role is rooted in the belief that behaviour is a form of communication, and we are committed to building relationships with children based on empathy, playfulness, acceptance, and curiosity.

The Role: Key Responsibilities
Working under the direction of Senior Staff, your duties will include:
1:1 and small group support for students in accessing learning activities across the curriculum.
Consistently applying effective behaviour regulation strategies, guided by a trauma-informed, trauma-sensitive approach.
Supporting students in crisis and modelling expected behaviour.
Assisting with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Provision Maps.
Promoting independence and rewarding student self-reliance.
Preparing and maintaining curriculum resources, and providing clerical/administrative support.
Assisting with student supervision during off-site activities.
Liaising with staff, parents/carers, and external professionals (e.g., educational psychologists, health/social care).
Providing intimate care and administering medicines to identified individuals (within safeguarding procedures).
Working Hours
You will work 32.5 hours per week during term time:
Monday, Thursday, Friday: 8.45am - 3.30pm
Tuesday: 8.45am - 4.15pm
Wednesday: 8.45am - 4.00pm

What You Need to Be Successful (Essential)
Minimum GCSE grades A - C in Maths and English, or equivalent.
Relevant experience supporting children with complex SEND needs, including SEMH, Cognition and Learning, ASC, and Attachment Difficulties.
A strong commitment to Child Protection, Health & Safety, and Confidentiality.
The Ideal Candidate (Desirable)
Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Supported Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
