The Permanent Role
We're looking for a proactive and resilient Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant for a permanent, full-time contract. This role offers the security and stability you need to truly invest in your students' futures. You'll be a consistent and reliable presence in the classroom, providing essential one-to-one and small group support to students with a variety of needs. Over time, you'll see the direct impact of your work as students build confidence, master new skills, and reach their personal milestones. You'll be a key member of the team, helping to create a consistent and positive learning environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide consistent, long-term support to students, helping them achieve both academic and personal goals.
- Collaborate closely with class teachers to adapt lesson plans and resources, ensuring every student can access the curriculum.
- Help create a secure and positive classroom atmosphere where students feel encouraged to learn and grow.
- Support students' social and emotional development, helping them build friendships and navigate school life.
- Contribute to student progress reports and attend meetings to provide valuable long-term insights.
- Be a dependable and caring point of contact for students and staff, fostering trust and stability.
