About the School
This specialist provision supports students with a wide range of needs including SEMH, Autism, ADHD, and associated conditions. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the SEN provision across the School with consistency and compassion
- Develop and implement EHCP strategies and personalised learning plans
- Collaborate with teaching staff to deliver high-quality, differentiated classroom support
- Provide leadership, guidance, and training to SEN support staff
- Liaise with external agencies, parents, and carers to ensure cohesive and coordinated support
- Monitor and evaluate SEN student progress, delivering timely interventions where necessary
- Promote and embed the School's inclusive values across all aspects of SEN provision
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
- Proven experience in a SENCO or similar leadership role within SEN or mainstream settings
- Strong knowledge of SEND legislation, EHCP processes, and best practice
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- A deep understanding of SEMH, Autism, ADHD, and related conditions
- A current Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
