Requirements & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience working as a SENCo or in a similar role.
- Sound knowledge of SEN legislation, policies, and best practices.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to get a new one
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- 2 recent and proven professional references
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
- Be enthusiastic, ambitious and serious about improving children's life chances through education
- Be highly organised, conscientious and able to set clear priorities when managing a busy workload
- Be able work cooperatively and communicate clearly with fellow colleagues, parents and pupils
- Have a 'can-do' attitude and has the ability to use their initiative
Roles & Responsibilities:

- Experience with 1:1 and small groups.
- Lead the provision of special educational needs support within the school.
- Coordinate the identification, assessment, and provision of support for students with SEN.
- Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) for students with SEN.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to create inclusive learning environments.
