Randstad is partnering with a high-achieving secondary school in Lewisham, South East London, seeking an exceptional SENCO. This role offers the chance to lead and enhance our SEND provision, ensuring every student with an EHCP receives outstanding support in a school committed to academic excellence and holistic development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic development and operational oversight of SEND provision, ensuring compliance with the SEND Code of Practice.
- Coordinate and chair EHCP reviews, focusing on person-centred planning.
- Liaise effectively with parents/carers and external agencies (EPs, SALT, CAMHS).
- Manage and develop our team of Learning Support Workers and Teaching Assistants.
- Provide expert guidance and professional development to staff on inclusive teaching.
- Maintain accurate SEN records and use data for school improvement.
- Champion student independence and prepare them for adult life.
About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential.
- NASENCO qualification or commitment to achieving it within three years.
- Deep understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and best practices.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for student wellbeing and independence.
