Randstad Education is proud to be working with a nurturing, specialist school in Redhill to recruit a dynamic SENCO who can lead with confidence, compassion, and clarity. This is a permanent, full-time role starting in September, ideal for a leader ready to shape meaningful change across a committed SEN team.

This specialist provision is designed to support students with a wide range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and associated conditions. With small class sizes, a personalised learning model, and strong pastoral care, the school creates a space where students feel safe, respected, and understood. What You'll Be Doing
- Leading the strategic direction and daily coordination of SEN provision
- Developing and reviewing EHCPs and personalised support strategies
- Supporting teaching staff in delivering inclusive, differentiated lessons
- Coaching and mentoring support staff to ensure consistency and care
- Acting as a key liaison with families, external agencies, and professionals
- Tracking and analysing student progress to inform timely interventions
- Championing the school's inclusive ethos and ensuring SEN is fully embedded across the curriculum
What We're Looking For
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) -this is essential
- Experience in a SENCO role or senior SEN leadership position
- Up-to-date knowledge of SEND Code of Practice and EHCP processes
- Confident leadership and the ability to inspire and guide others
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Expertise in supporting pupils with SEMH, Autism, ADHD, and complex needs
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
