The Challenge
Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for neurodiversity and complex needs? We are an IQM-awarded independent specialist school looking for a forward-thinking SENCo to join our Senior Leadership circuit.
Our students (ages 6-19) face complex barriers-from PMLD and autism to sensory and physical impairments. We don't just "manage" these needs; we create bespoke pathways to independence. We are looking for a leader who sees the potential in every challenge and has the clinical and pedagogical curiosity to drive our provision forward.
The Strategic Impact
This is not just an administrative role. As our SENCo, you will be a key architect of our school's success:
Drive Innovation: Shape a diverse, inclusive curriculum and assessment framework that sets a national standard.
Empower Teams: Lead CPD and mentor a dedicated support team, fostering a culture of high expectations and continuous professional growth.
Data-Driven Excellence: Use sophisticated assessment tracking to evidence progress and inform the School Quality Improvement Plan.
Collaborative Leadership: Work hand-in-hand with our on-site therapeutic team (occupational therapists, SLTs, and more) to provide a truly holistic education.
Why This Role?
State-of-the-Art Environment: Access to a hydrotherapy pool, expansive outdoor learning zones, and bespoke sensory spaces.
Leadership Development: Take a central role in school governance, recruitment, and budget management.
The Bonus: A £5,000 welcome payment for Qualified Teachers joining our mission.
