Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to provide support to teachers and students in a dynamic educational setting. Our ideal candidate will be a team player with a passion for helping students succeed.
Responsibilities
- Provide tailored support to help students access the curriculum and achieve their learning goals.
- Support students with mobility issues or physical disabilities.
- Help manage challenging behaviour using de-escalation techniques.
- Provide feedback to teachers, SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator), and parents/carers.
Requirements
- Experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs (e.g., autism, ADHD, dyslexia, physical disabilities).
- Understanding of a range of SEN conditions and strategies to support them
- 1+ year of UK work experience required in the UK Schools
- Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one through Randstad - this is essential
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Must submit 2 professional references reflecting recent roles.
- Two recent professional references are required from relevant work experience
