Location: Residential Care Home Setting (Island Locations)
Pay: £23 Umbrella
Hours: Up to 50 hours per week | Shifts 07:00 - Midnight | Accommodation Provided
Contract: Minimum 3 months
Role Overview
We are recruiting three experienced Senior Social Care Workers to support the operational running of residential services. This is a leadership role requiring strong management experience within a care environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deputising for the Registered Manager
- Supervising, mentoring, and supporting care staff
- Conducting inductions and training
- Overseeing care planning, risk assessments, and service delivery
- Liaising with Social Work teams, families, and external professionals
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Chairing staff meetings and maintaining quality records
Requirements
- Proven senior or line management experience in residential care
- Strong knowledge of Social Care Codes of Practice
- Ability to lead teams and manage a busy service
- Experience in quality assurance and compliance
