ResponsibilityWhat will you be responsible for:
You will be responsible for undertaking comprehensive assessments of service users' needs, developing and implementing care plans, and advocating for their best interests. You'll also work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to ensure holistic support.
Specifically the activities will be:
Conducting thorough assessments, developing and reviewing care plans, liaising with families and other professionals, attending case conferences, and maintaining accurate records. This role requires strong decision making and problem-solving skills within a demanding environment.
ExperienceWhat requirements are we looking for?
Significant experience as a qualified social worker, ideally within a local authority setting. Experience working with vulnerable adults is essential. You should possess strong assessment, care planning, and advocacy skills.
Requirements/SkillsWhat requirements are we looking for?
HCPC registration is mandatory. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills are crucial. You must be able to manage your time effectively and work under pressure. Experience with relevant legislation and safeguarding procedures is also required.
Level of studyWhat requirements are we looking for?
A relevant social work qualification (e.g., BA/BSc Social Work) leading to HCPC registration is essential.
