ResponsibilityWhat will you be responsible for:
As a Senior Social Worker, you will be responsible for undertaking comprehensive assessments of individuals' needs, developing and implementing care plans, and advocating for their best interests. You will also supervise junior social workers and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the team.
Specifically the activities will be:
Conducting thorough assessments, developing and implementing care plans, case management, liaising with other agencies, supervising junior social workers, participating in team meetings, attending relevant training, and adhering to professional standards and regulations.
ExperienceWhat requirements are we looking for?
Significant experience as a qualified Social Worker, ideally within a local authority setting. Experience in assessment and care planning is essential, as well as demonstrable supervisory skills. Knowledge of relevant legislation and procedures is crucial.
Requirements/SkillsWhat requirements are we looking for?
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong case management abilities, ability to work independently and as part of a team, resilience, and a commitment to safeguarding vulnerable adults. A valid Social Work England registration is mandatory.
Level of studyWhat requirements are we looking for?
A relevant Social Work degree (or equivalent) and current Social Work England registration are essential.
