Randstad is seeking a highly experienced and compassionate Senior Social Worker to join our team in Hackney, working with children in need, cases involving Child Protection (CP), and court proceedings. This is a challenging yet rewarding role for a dedicated professional who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: conducting thorough assessments of children's needs, developing and implementing care plans, liaising with families, schools, and other agencies, representing the child's best interests in court proceedings, and ensuring the safety and well-being of children within your caseload. Experience with complex cases and court work is essential.

The ideal candidate will possess a relevant social work qualification (e.g., MSW, LCSW), significant experience working with children in need and Child Protection cases, a strong understanding of relevant legislation and procedures, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work effectively under pressure, and a demonstrable commitment to safeguarding children. Experience working within the court system is vital.
