My FM client is seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Shift Leader to oversee and execute the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule on a major corporate contract. This leadership role is crucial for maximizing the operational effectiveness and reliability of the plant and associated electrical systems within a demanding business-critical environment. You will drive quality, compliance, and effective team collaboration.

Salary - £47,000 pa
Key Responsibilities:
... - Operational Efficiency: Consistently monitor, maintain, and repair all M&E assets to ensure maximum operational effectiveness and reliability.
- Preventative Maintenance (PPM): Carry out PPM in accordance with set schedules and ensure engineering standards are maintained. Experience in the electrical aspects of general building PPM schedules is required.
- Reactive Response: Respond in a prompt and effective manner to all electrically related reactive maintenance issues and help desk requests, minimizing downtime and disruptions.
- Technical Expertise: Carry out technical surveys and electrical testing and inspection, reporting findings to the Engineering Service Manager (ESM).
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and accurate records and documentation associated with maintenance tasks and preventative schedules.
Qualifications required:
- City & Guilds Parts 1 and 2 (Electrical Installation 2360) .
- Successful completion of an Electrical Apprenticeship.
- 17th or 18th Edition Institute of Electrical Engineers (I.E.E)
Experience & Skills
- Prior experience with permits to work (Authorized Person Electrical - High Voltage).
- Experience in electrical installation work, plus electrical testing and inspection.
- Prior experience of Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Experience with Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems.
- PASMA/IPAF certified.
- Experience with similar maintenance duties, including fault diagnosis, and rectification.
