We are seeking an experienced, dedicated Static Electrician / Shift Technician to join our critical services team supporting a key Financial Services client. This role is essential for maintaining the continuous, safe, and efficient operation of complex infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on High Voltage (HV) systems in a business-critical environment.
You will be a key member of a highly skilled maintenance team, responsible for a balance of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive work across all electrical and mechanical building services.
salary - £40,000 per annum
shift patterm - Monday to friday
Key Responsibilities & Duties
The core focus of this role is to ensure maximum uptime and operational safety across the client site. Your responsibilities will include:
... - Reactive Maintenance & Fault Diagnosis: Promptly address all electrical and mechanical issues, including effective fault diagnosis and rectification, to minimise disruption and maintain functionality. Ensure all help desk requests are handled efficiently.
- HV System Maintenance: Execute planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, and repair on a variety of High Voltage (HV) equipment
- Preventative Maintenance (PPM): Conduct scheduled PPM duties using computer PPM management systems and carry out technical surveys, providing detailed reports to inform maintenance and improvement plans.
- Operational Support: Provide cover at other sites when required, demonstrating flexibility to maintain continuous service across the client portfolio.
Qualifications and Skills
- City & Guilds Parts 1 and 2 (Electrical Installation 2360) or equivalent recognized qualification.
- 18th Edition Institute of Electrical Engineers (I.E.E) Registration or equivalent.
- City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing) or equivalent.
- HV Authorised Person (AP) status or significant proven experience in HV maintenance and operation.
