Site Engineer - Yorkshire
Are you a Site Engineer with a passion for building? We're looking for a motivated and experienced professional to join our team in Yorkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to take a leading role in a variety of civil engineering projects, with a focus on highways and roadworks.
The Role
As a key member of our team, you'll be instrumental in the successful delivery of our projects. Your main responsibilities will include:
Setting out, leveling, and surveying the site.
Checking plans, drawings, and quantities to ensure accuracy.
Managing quality control and making sure all work meets our high standards.
Communicating effectively with clients, subcontractors, and other professionals.
Solving technical issues as they come up.
Preparing risk assessments and method statements.
Keeping a firm handle on health and safety regulations.
Maintaining accurate site records and diaries.
What We Need
We're looking for someone with a degree or HND in Civil Engineering and proven experience as a Site Engineer, preferably with a civils contractor. You should also have:
Experience with general civils projects.
Proficiency in surveying equipment (total stations, GPS, etc.).
A solid understanding of health and safety legislation.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
A full UK driving license.
Salary and Benefits
